UNIX, Linux, Windows, Banking, Finance Data Centre Operations Engineer required for a contract with one of the World's Leading Financial Organisations. Knowledge/Skills: - Experience of hardware manufacturer installation standards and knowledge of copper and fibre cabling installations and standards. - Experience of working in Data Centre environments - Basic network knowledge and experience of Cisco and Juniper hardware - Understanding of IP Networks - Experience of working in an ITIL controlled environment with knowledge of Change Control & Incident Management processes - Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM databases - Ability to prioritise effectively - Ability to manage 3rd party contract staff/companies working within the DC - Pro active and flexible with ability to work either as part of a team or as an individual - Effective written and verbal communication at all levels   [view full job]
